Quote and Question: Looking Up While Falling Down

“Wow, I sure fell down those stairs fast.”

How can we cultivate the habit of looking for the positive in (seemingly) negative situations?

  • Jay Breitlow

The negatives of any situation are almost always so easy to spot, the challenge is to think and focus on the positives. What I have done, thru time, is train my mind to focus on the positives. In the event that seems impossible, the challenge is to sit down and make a list of “all the positives” that came about from this situation. Take a day or 2 or a week away and come back to the list and see if it resonates.

    • I appreciate the idea of taking time before reflection. Thank you, Dr. B!

    • “FOCUS”. Love it. What we focus on gets bigger, brighter. Thanks, Dr. Jay!
